The Implications Of The OX-9 ( One Laptop per Child Program)

The OX-9 is called "One Laptop per Child" program is now called is a great idea and shows what is possible when the technology is not overloaded. The design is functional and fantastic, and would have an enormous impact in the developing world. But the fact that the computer comes from the government and not by the public markets, raises skepticism. Doing so limits the impact of the laptops have to go to.

The problem is that it is limited, only the development Countries. Sale to the public would allow market forces to take the project to a higher level of empowerment and leave it there with products to be measured on the market. I am not interested in this project, because what will it do for the children, because despite the subsidies, only a very small amount of children, each in their own hands on that computer. But because there is a new door is opened more goods for less. Someone in the developed world, need only a basic> Laptop you could buy them. It would follow the same pattern of the Dacia Logan in Europe. The car is sold in Europe as much as in developing countries, it was intended for.

The OX-9 is a bottom-up shake up. On the one hand, allows children to learn programming and other computer skills early creation of a new class of customers. On the other hand, it would affect how technology is used in the developed world. To the proponents of the OX-9, they sell to the public andSales to governments of developing countries and use the full potential of this innovative project.
